“Northern Lights”

Day 1. Meeting. Hunting for the Northern Lights

❖ You arrive in the hero city of Murmansk by plane or train.
We recommend arriving before 16:00 to allow time to get to the hotel and check in.
Check-in at the hotel according to international standards starts at 14:00*
*check-in time at the hotel can be changed, luggage can be left in the storage room.

❖ Group gathering for dinner and first meeting
The group will meet at 18:30 at the address: Vorovskogo St., 5/23, lobby of the Meridian Hotel (the exact time will be indicated by the guide the day before)

❖ We will go to dinner at one of the arctic restaurants
Included: hot dishes of your choice, dessert, tea
You can order additional items from the menu (paid for separately)

❖ Let's go hunting for the Northern Lights! (1)
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and no one can guarantee them.

• The group will gather at the Meridian Hotel. The guide will inform you of the exact time the day before. Please do not be late and always stay in touch, as the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, the departure time may change.
• The hunt for the Northern Lights can take several hours, we kindly ask you to take care of warm clothes and shoes in advance!
• Photography during the Northern Lights is included in the price. It is necessary to listen carefully to the guide, observe safety precautions and turn off the flash on the cameras.
• IMPORTANT! The guide-photographer takes several general group photos, after each participant. If the duration of the Northern Lights allows, you can take several additional photos.

❖ We return to Murmansk, to the starting point. The next day will be no less fabulous.

Day 2. To the End of the World in Teriberka
❖ Group gathering
The guide will inform you of the departure time the day before, the approximate departure time is 8:00
(time may change, depends on weather conditions)
The group will meet at the address: Vorovskogo St., 5/23, lobby of the Meridian Hotel

❖ Crossing the endless tundra towards the ocean
The road to Teriberka will take about 2.5 hours one way.

❖ Abandoned Ship Graveyard

❖ Boat trip in search of wonders

❖ Lunch with a view of the ocean and the enchanting beauty of Teriberka
The tour includes a set lunch: chicken soup or fish soup with tender sea fish fillet, a choice of meat or fish dish with a side dish, fruit drink made from fresh northern berries.
Important! For reasons beyond the company's control, lunch may be cancelled.

❖ Teriberka Nature Park
Among the main places included in the park territory, we will visit:

• Batareisky waterfall
• Dragon Egg Beach

During the snowy winter, when the Dragon Egg Beach, Batareisky waterfall and other natural attractions cannot be reached on foot, we will use snowmobile sleds.

❖ Sandy beach and unity with nature
You will be able to ride the northernmost swing and take photos with a view of the ocean.

❖ Saying goodbye to Teriberka and the ocean

IMPORTANT!!! The road to Teriberka in winter may be closed due to weather conditions, we do not risk your safety. In this case, the trip will be replaced by another direction - Kirovsk.

❖ Arriving in Kirovsk
Sightseeing tour of the city

❖ Museum and exhibition center "Apatit".
❖ Lunch at the restaurant
❖ Snow village
❖ Polar-Alpine Botanical Garden-Institute (if the snow village is closed)
❖ Art park Mysterious forest
❖ Return to Murmansk

Day 3. Getting to know Murmansk and the Ethnoprogram
❖ Group gathering
The guide will inform you of the departure time the day before
The group will meet at the address: Vorovskogo St., 5/23, lobby of the Meridian Hotel

❖ We are going on a sightseeing tour of the hero city of Murmansk
The first point of the excursion will be the Marine Station and the nuclear icebreaker "Lenin" (external inspection, with tickets available, visit with a guided tour)
The next point of the excursion will be the Zeleny Mys hill and the memorial "Defenders of the Soviet Arctic", popularly known as "Alyosha".
Not far from the defender of the Arctic, there is a monument "Waiting".

❖ We are going to the active recreation park for the Ethno program

• visit to the animal park (huskies and reindeer);
• meeting with a shaman and a tent;
• Sami games;
• story about the culture and life of Sami settlements;
• taking photos in national Sami costumes;
• reindeer sleigh ride 1 km;
• tasting set of liqueurs in the shaman's tent (tea/fruit drink for children);
• crossbow shooting range at models of wild animals (3 shots from a crossbow);
• hot lunch (fish soup, pancakes, tea).

Day 4. Icefloating

❖ Group gathering for icefloating

❖ Arrival to the territory, introduction

❖ Instruction, changing into emergency rescue suits in a warm winter tent

❖ Start of swimming accompanied by a professional guide

❖ After swimming, chat over a cup of hot tea

❖ Return to the city

❖ Lunch

❖ Transfer to the airport
